The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.16%, while the Year-to-Date return stood at 36.14%. The All Share Index closed at 36,587.31 against the previous close of 36,645.65 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.594 trillion against previous close of ₦12.614 trillion. Volume traded decreased by 24.37% from 140.877 million to 106.546 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 9.31% from ₦1.723 billion to ₦1.883 billion in 3,193 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 74.185 million shares exchanged for ₦0.966 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 12.997 million shares traded for ₦0.728 billion, Conglomerates, Industrial Goods, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Zenithbank, Transcorp, Fbnh, Skyebank and UBA were the most active stocks by volume. Cutix, Intbrew, Ccnn, Transcorp and Neimeth emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Aiico, Honyflour, NEM, UACN and Continsure topped the losers chart.
