CAPITAL BANCORP SUMMARY FOR MONDAY, 11TH DECEMBER 2017
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.88%, while the Year-to-Date return stood at 44.80%. The All Share Index closed at 38,913.99 against the previous close of 39,257.53 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦13.553 trillion against previous close of ₦13.672 trillion. Volume traded decreased by 33.86% from 530.080 million to 350.595 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 4.01% from ₦5.121 billion to ₦4.916 billion in 4,884 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 252.948 million shares exchanged for ₦2.74 billion. Conglomerates came next with 57.933 million shares traded for ₦0.512 billion, Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
FBNH, Zenithbank, Diamondbnk, Transcorp and Access were the most active stocks by volume. Mobil, Nascon, Neimeth, Nestle and Dangsugar emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Learnafrca, Uba, Cileasing, Eterna and Fidelitybk topped the losers chart.
